Review by George Norman (Cybersecurity Editor)

Przemyslaw Miszczuk, founder of Poland-based company SOFCIK, came up with the CafeSuite cyber café software to meet the computer usage management needs on internet cafes, libraries, universities, and any other location that provides access to computers. Get this application if you need to control who can access a computer, specify for how long that computer can be used, and keep track of how much money you earn.

The CafeSuite installation file is 18.1MB in size. Run the file once the download completes and a simple setup wizard will show up. Click through it and in very little time and with minimal effort you will have CafeSuite up and running.

CafeSuite is not exactly meant to be used by novices, it is meant for advanced users – and that is obvious from the application’s interface. The focus with the interface falls on functionality, not eye candy. There are plenty of buttons for a variety of functions all bundled together on a simplistic interface. It may take a bit of time and a few trips to the Help menu to figure everything out.

Once you figure everything out, it will be worth it – what I mean to say by that is that CafeSuite is a properly good and powerful cyber café management software. With it by your side you will be able to control computers as well as printers, manage who has access to computers and for how long, generate bills for those who use your computers, keep track of the money you earn and more. From one central location you can control all the computers in your internet café, no matter how few or how many you have. CafeSuite works just as well with a handful of computers and with a few hundred computers.

CafeSuite is only free to try. For evaluation purposes, you can use the application for free for a trial period of 31 days. This should be enough to figure out what CafeSuite does and decide if it is the right tool for you.

Manage the computers in your internet café efficiently with the powerful CafeSuite application.

Pros

The interface is focused on functionality. Access to CafeSuite is password protected. You are presented with all the tools you would expect from a cyber café management tool.

Cons

Free to use for a trial period of 31 days.
